I am a full-time writer myself who relies heavily on my beta/best friend. I have never had the wish to beta stuff, until I realized how vital it was. Being in need of a beta isn't a weakness - something I initially thought it was - it's just necessary. If you've written something, you don't see the words after a while. You gloss over mistakes, no matter how many times you re-read it. That's what beta's are for, and that's why I want to be one, too. I just like to help people, especially creative ones, and this is just a good way to start doing so. (I think!)

Well, I have a lot of experience? In writing, I mean. I've written four fanfiction stories now, and three novels, and I've been writing since I was eight. I write about three to four hours a day... So I think that just proves my point experience-wise. So, yeah, I might not be a full-blown master at betaing, but I know my way around words. (Oh, and I have beta'd a story for a friend before.)

As I said, I'm primarily a writer. Beta'ing is new territory for me, so I might not be perfect in doing so. I shall, however, do my best. :)

I'm a massive, massive fan of Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and Sherlock Holmes. I only ever read those stories. (Preferably my otp's, like Drarry, Percabeth, Johnlock, etc.) But I don't mind betaing others.

I do not want to beta scorpius/rose stories, or worlds and books and people I've never heard of.
