I might take a while to finish betareading stories, as I'm busy with composing music and writing/editing my fantasy trilogy, among other things, but if I care about the story I'm reading I will read it through thoroughly and try to catch as many mistakes as possible. I expect that anyone who wishes me to betaread for them will not inquire about any personal details about myself and accept that if I decline to betaread something it is for a good reason.

Realizing when a story is boring, it tends to happen quite a bit as I read my own writing. :) I can catch most spelling/grammar/punctuation errors, and I suppose I'm good at catching any continuity errors as I manage to find at least one mistake in most of the novels I read.

I find it difficult to fix scenes/sentences/phrases that just don't feel right. Sometimes when I'm writing, I get a picture of what I want to express in my writing and I just can't figure out the right words to make it come to life the way I want it to. This is even harder when I'm editing something and I don't know what the writer of the work actually wanted to express there.

Harry Potter, Preferably including Snape or Draco in some major part. And Star Trek. I just got into the Star Trek fandom and I love it, especially Spock. And McCoy is cool too. Pretty much all the characters, actually, but I enjoy the banter between Kirk, Spock, and McCoy. I'm open to betareading pretty much anything so long as there's no slash or explicit content, but would prefer to actually have read/watched the original story/movie, etc. beforehand

No Slash, no M rated fan fics, no explicit content, etc. Please no spoilers, if I haven't watched/read the source material your fanfic is based off of, or if I haven't completed the source material I'd like to be warned :)
