I am a beginning beta-reader, and wish to help others with their stories while at the same time perfecting your own craft. I may or may not ask to alter your chapters to display more emotion or add more detail to the scene/characters. I do not expect everyone to be a great writer, but I DO expect them to know the ins and outs of paragraphs and dialogue. If the do not, I will be glad to assist you in such a thing. If you do not want my assistance in one of the most important parts of writing, please do not ask for my help.

Let's see... I can do prose, have a semi-critical eye for proofreading, seem to be good with action-to-description, tend to re-read if need-be, can correct many grammatical errors after a few sweeps, try to fair and critical of cliches, am slightly proficient at where quotations should be and have a very high aptitude for art.

I am a perfectionist, so expect me to run the manuscript by you multiple times (or possibly several versions) before I accept my work has been completed. I sometimes enter too little detail when it comes to scenery, but over-do descriptions on characters. I have a slightly small attention span and my self-schedule is erratic, so I may have bouts where I get no work done, yet others where I do more than needed.

Romance, drama, tragedy with a happy ending. I really like it when something horrible happens to a character, but they find happiness after a lot of suffering and turmoil. I am a massive SpyroxCynder fan. Mary sues are okay, but not big ones.

Stories with a lot of tragedy with no resolution for the character, stories where characters suddenly switch partners for no apparent reason other than a whim, Spyro stories where Cynder gives up on Spyro for some less-than-realistic reason (we all have out mega-shippings, and this one is mine), stories where Cynder or Spyro die, stories where the main character is a jerk for no apparent reason.
