I typically read the entire thing two or three times, editing as I go after the initial read. The initial read is to get a feel for how and where you want that chapter to go and to try and get a grasp on your writing style. If I fail to get a grasp on either of those things, I will do my best to edit the chapter without making any major changes to sentence structure or phrasing.

I would think that I am doing something right with my own works considering that I have not gotten a lot of negative feedback in terms of my spelling, grammar and sentence structuring. So I guess those would be my strong points.

I sometimes have a tendency to read a sentence or paragraph and think that the author/writer meant it in an entirely different way than what he/she actually meant it to mean. So I apologize now for any mistakes I make in proofreading your works. Everyone makes mistakes, even the betas do sometimes.

Anything and everything is okay with me. If I don't know the topic or idea the story is based off of, I will let you know and politely deny it or I will do an extensive amount of research and do my very best to edit it and bring it back to you in a reasonable amount of time.

If there is something II will not edit or proofread for you, I will let you know and deny you politely. Please do not take it to heart if I decide that I will not do it. I mean no disrespect or anything like that.
