I'm a very well-read individual with a lot of experience writing professionally, along with editing, so I will be able to offer a well-versed point of view to those who need one. In fan fictions, I find that poor wording and grammar tend to slaughter a story, and I'm more than happy to read through and correct even the smallest mistakes to keep from jarring your readers out of the storyline you had enveloped them in. I'm very flexible, and am happy to keep an open flow of conversation with the writer during the editing process. All I ask is that the writers who wish to acquire my services are open-minded to change to sentence structure and paragraphing in order to keep the story flow, and don't take any of my editing as an affront on their abilities.

I'm excellent when it comes to editing grammar, along with keeping story flow going. I can keep story characters from becoming out of character, seeing as nothing is worse than reading a line of dialogue in a fan fiction and saying to yourself 'They would never say that!'. I try to deter the 'talking head' formula that some writers use in order to add to character development and to keep the readers on track.

Honestly, when it comes to starting off a fan fiction, I may not be the best person to help you. The first few paragraphs of every story are some of the hardest and lay down a foundation on which the rest of your story is built. A good opening means that people will read the second chapter, and I think that if a writer intends to really go through this adventure of building up their characters and systematically tearing them down before building them back up again, they have to already have a good opening in mind. Seeing as I may not know where you're story is going, I would not trust myself to write the most important part of it for you.

There are some books, movies, tv shows, etc.. that I know more about than others, and therefore would be able to give more input into. However, I'm more than happy to take up a story about something that I'm unfamiliar with, even if it means that I'd have to do more research than usual in order to keep the world straight. I don't do porn with a plot. I know that fanfiction.net tries to filter out a lot of the excruciatingly mature content from its site, but any long-time reader can tell you that it still seeps through every once in a while. I'm perfectly comfortable with beta-ing sex scenes and the like, but I don't ever want to beta a story that uses the phrases 'her heaving bosom', 'his member', or 'pure white globes of flesh'. I'm just not comfortable with it, and often find PWPs to be very OOC.
