I am harsh, but fair. I'll point out the inconsistencies and flat characters, bad dialogue and stale imagery...but I'll also highlight what works well. The only things I expect from someone who wishes me to beta-read are a good grasp on English grammar and the ability to take constructive criticism without turning it personal. |
