I'm available to beta pretty much anything, from basic grammar to elements like characterisation, plot and overall style/structure. I try to be thorough, but you shouldn't feel obligated to follow every piece of advice I offer; at the end of the day it's your story, not mine. I won't rip stories apart in an unfriendly manner, but I'd like to be certain that honest constructive criticism won't upset you.

I think my strongest points are character and style. I'll try to improve the clarity of your text, check for OOC behaviour, and offer general discussion if there's something you're unsure about. And I can Brit-pick the speech style of characters in The Last Story (I'm used to people talking exactly like Syrenne, haha).

I use British spellings, so if you're American then I'm not the perfect choice for a spelling editor. In fact, I'd prefer not to beta for somebody who only wants me to check their spelling and grammar.

For .hack, I'm offering to beta stories from the R:2 era (Roots and G.U.). My main interest is Haseo/Endrance, but I'll also look at stories featuring other characters. If you're not sure then just ask, I won't bite! For The Last Story, I'll give anything a shot.

Stories dealing with sexual abuse, mpreg, nonsensical crack or character bashing. For .hack, please don't ask me to beta stories that split up or kill off my favourite pairing. I'm sorry if that sounds picky, but that's how it is.
