I've never "beta-ed" (can that be used as a verb? I say yes.) anything on FF.net before, only for friends and such. I was considering being an English major for a while though, and I've always done well in my English classes. I'm a bit of a grammar freak and I'm a good speller. I can typically catch most mistake in just a quick glance.

Like I said above, I'm a grammar and spell-check freak. I also think I could offer some insight into the plot lines of your story, if you ask me to. If not, then I can proof read it and be done. Whatever you like.

I am perfection. I have no weaknesses. Not really, but I can dream, right? I am susceptible to the same kinds of mistakes as everyone else; typos, punctuation errors, over-repeating words, etc. Hopefully, however, if you make those mistakes I can catch them before you post them.

Well, I'd prefer to be a fan of whatever fiction you're writing. And, in some cases, it's actually beneficial for me to be, such as if you'd like ideas for a plot. If I'm not a fan and have no idea what you're writing about, then my plot devices won't be very good, hm? However, if you're just looking for a proof read, as stated above, then I'd be more than happy to look over whatever.

Look, if you're just a bad writer - and let's face it, there are a ton of them out there - who doesn't use punctuation, capitalizations, or any of the basic rules we're taught in elementary school? Well, I'm going to have to politely decline beta-ing your story. I'm sorry. Otherwise, you're good to go.
