Who am I? I love reading just about anything and have discovered that I love editing almost as much. I'll read through a story and make mental notes of grammatical/spelling/clarity errors. Then I go through the story again, making changes/fixing. If I get stuck, I'll leave it and come back. Thirdly, I'll read through a third time, fixing my edits, rewording, and checking for mistakes I missed. Last of all I read though the entire thing, checking for clarity and smoothness.

As a "grammar Nazi, " I'm quick to pick up on obvious and not-so obvious grammatical errors. Misspelled words also stand out for me. I love jumping on awkward phrasing and playing with it until it sounds just right.

Most of my experience is with editing academic papers, so particulars of fiction writing may escape me. I plan on researching this so I can work more effectively.

I am open to any genre, unless I find something later.

I'd prefer not to read slash and/or explicitly lemony stories.
