My name is Ali, and I've been reading fanfiction for five years now. Currently, I'm a senior in high school and recently, I was accepted to Emerson College in Boston where I'll be studying writing, literature, and publishing. That ought to give you a hint at how much I love writing. This is what I'm going to be doing for the rest of my life. If chosen as your beta reader, I promise to give my full time and energy to the chapters you send me. I expect my authors to be smart and creative with their stories. I can't tell you how many times I've clicked out of stories because they were all one paragraph, which seems to happen often. Also, many people don't have a real plot line, which angers me the most. For example, some Draco/Hermione stories (Harry Potter) turn Hermione into a a slut and Draco into a wimp for no particular reason; there's rarely ever a good back story. As a beta, I promise to help any struggling authors with their plots, character portrayals, and style.

I'm good. I've got keen eye for grammatical errors, and I know how to make a sentence flow. I'm usually the one friends come to when they need something edited.

I am brutally honest. If something you've written isn't any good, I will tell you so. Being a fanfic veteran, I've seen some pretty bad stuff over the years. Now, I won't go off the handle, but I'm not afraid to speak up. However, you are always to welcome to ignore any of my comments at any time.

I'm mostly a Harry Potter reader, but I can always check for just grammar errors.
