I am interested in editing some stories. I've been an editor on six different publications as well as a public relations intern at a publishing house. I'm a freelance writer, blogger, fan fiction author, and over-all writing enthusiast. I edit using Microsoft Word Track Changes and Comments. For anyone who is not proficient in these editing techniques, they really are the best tools for editing and I urge everyone to learn how to use them. It takes probably half an hour and you'll use it forever.

I'm a comma Nazi. I have the bad tendency of going ape-shit on them without realizing that some really should be there.

Anything, although Harry Potter is my specialty. I also harbor a little flame for Katniss and Peeta. If something requires in-depth knowledge of the original book then we'd need to see if I've actually read the book first, lol. I must admit that I don't read as many books as I should; my world right now consists of articles in newspapers, blogs, magazines and review websites. The last ten or so books I've read have only been in the pursuit of keeping up with mainstream public knowledge and I wouldn't have read them if I didn't have to. But I have read about 300 books in my lifetime thus far, so if it's a well known title there's a pretty good chance I've read it.

I do not like to read anything that includes explicit rape, male pregnancy, gender-swapping, incest, cross dressing, over the top "squee"ing and other cutesy behavior by characters that are supposed to be grown men, baby-talk dialogue, character bashing, Mary Sue’s and Gary Stu’s. Other than all that, I'm down :)
