Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I enjoy getting involved in a story, and I will help with more than just grammical issues. I will make comments and have conversations, not just correct things. However, I do expect that it is at least on the right track with punctuation and grammar, and at least looked through. Being shoved something that needs more than two hours of editing would be a nightmare for anyone. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Characterzation, plot and planning, grammar, and punctuation are skills of mine. I also excell at dialogue writing. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Anything with smut will be difficult as I've had no experience writing or reading it. Flow is also a little difficult for me at times to gauge. Graphic violence and language is fine, however. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
Anything with action and angst is right up my alley! Especially angst and hurt/comfort. I love depressing things. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
Smut. Really, anything with graphic sex will be difficult. A scene or two is fine, but PWP is a no go. Graphic violence and language is fine, though. |
