I'm nice; I promise. :) And I won't force you to make any content or style changes that you don't want to. As far as grammar and spelling goes, though... Well, I re-read all of my chapters/oneshots at least three times to make sure the grammar and spelling is flawless, or nearly so. I will put that same time and effort into stories I beta. There is nothing that makes me sadder than a story with a good idea and so-so grammar because it has so much potential, but the grammar makes it hard to read. If you have a story like that, then I'm the beta for you! :) As far as beta-ing expectations go... If you would like a beta for any reason, PM me! I promise to read a chapter - or at least start a chapter - of what you would like me to beta. But if the idea for a story isn't interesting to me, I'm sorry, but I'm a busy girl, and I don't have time to beta everything. I will most likely choose original story ideas over clichéd ones. If your story is off to a good start but needs a little help to be stellar, I would love to beta it! If your story is really good already and you'd just like an extra pair of eyes, I would love to beta that too! It depends on the individual story, honestly. I don't want to give absolutes because there are exceptions to every rule. :)

Honestly, I am stellar at grammar and spelling. I read all fanfiction stories with a critical eye, and sometimes I even mention grammar in my reviews. If you need a grammar beta, I am definitely your girl. :) I'm also open to all styles of writing, including more unconventional ones. And I always try to give positive comments along with the negative. I will be honest with my criticisms and suggestions, but not brutally so. :)

I'm very busy during the school year, so I may not answer you for a few days. It doesn't mean I've abandoned you; I promise I will get to your story as soon as I can. But if you want a beta with a turnaround time of a couple hours or less, I'm probably not right for you. :)

I checked off all books, but if I can't understand your story because it's written for a book series I've never read, I probably won't be able to beta it well. You'd be better off choosing a beta in your particular category of book. :) Also, a few kinds of pairings, including slash, I can't betaread. It's not that I have anything against it... I'm just not the right kind of beta for that sort of thing. Sorry! And check the ratings I beta for, guys. No M-rated stuff. Please. :)
