I'm a long-time sci-fi junkie. My favorites are Star Trek (Roddenberry-verse ONLY)-Voyager and DS9 especially. I also like BSG (2004), Andromeda, seaQuest, Firefly and various sci-fi authors, such as Andre Norton, Anne McCaffrey, Catherine Asaro and Julian May.

SPAG is my biggest strength. I can especially help with making sure character and place names and words/terms fandom-specific are spelled/referred to properly. Can also help with plot flow and pace.

Characterization is both a strength and a weakness for me. Sometimes my interpretation of a character may be different from others', especially in canons where the canon characters are not properly fleshed out (seaQuest, I'm looking at you).

Romances for my favored pairings (I'm a self-admitted sap). Dramatic angst, especially when paired with a romantic B-plot. Friendship/family fics are okay if not too sappy or parody-esque.

I don't do parody/crackfics and I'm not fond of most comedy-only stories because they end up reading like parodies/crack. Comedic dialogue and/or situations can be written into stories of other genres just as easily. Not fond of extreme, gruesome torture or graphic slash (T-rated kissing and petting is okay but as far as I prefer to read). Lastly, OCs do not bother me but please make them three-dimensional and non-Sueish.
