Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm new to beta-ing officially. My only experience would be a soundboard for my sister's ideas about original work and fanfiction. However I am very willing to help out others who need a beta and I love to give feedback on things. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
My strengths as a beta reader would really be in the areas of plot planning, characterization, world building and just as a person to bounce various ideas off. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Weakness would be punctuation and grammar. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I would prefer to beta plot heavy fics and fics with a lot of character moments. As for fandoms, any of the fandoms I've written in and you can add Daredevil to those. I also only beta read fics in english. I would prefer to beta friendship, adventure, family and maybe angst. Content rating K-T but I don't mind M if it deals with blood and gore. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I won't beta read fics that contain overly explicit scenes or themes as well as slash and anime fics. Fics in which romance is the main genre are also fics I won't beta. Fics which contain a lot of strong language also fall under 'not my cup of tea' |
