I haven't actually been a beta-reader before on this website, but I edit and critique material written by friends and family in real-life. I'm a full-time university student, but I can always take the time to help a fellow writer with her/his work. I'm willing to work with anyone who would like my assistance and I can offer varying degrees of it. If you want someone to simply read over your work before you post it, I can do that. If your English grammar isn't the best, I can help. I can reconstruct incoherant sentences into lovely descriptive ones if needed. So basically, I'll help with whatever and I'm nearly always available.

My biggest strength is probably English grammar. I'm good at editing papers, and I can usually catch most grammatical and spelling errors. I am able to use both British and American English, if someone has a preference to one, but most spell check programs can do that anyway. I'm also quite fluent in Japanese and know a bit of French and German, so if dialog in a story contains those languages, I can help with that as well. If I know the characters for the story, I can help keep them in character and such as well.

I'm not sure what my weakness is...like I said, I haven't been a betareader before. As a writer, my biggest weakness is that I don't update my own work. Usually it's because I either lose motivation or I get distracted with school work or reading other fanfiction. This won't happen to anyone's story I happen to be beta-reading, by the way. Oh, another weakness is fight-scenes. I'm terrible with those, but any other situation I can handle.

It's easier for me to beta things I like. Hetalia is my thing right now, so I'll be more than happy to beta any story from that series. I'm also cool with Bleach, Naruto, or any series in general that I am familiar with. Content rating doesn't bother me at all. Vladimir Nabokov and Marquis de Sade are two of my favourite writers, if that's any indication.

I will not beta anything "furry" or the equivalent. I'm open to most things aside from that, so we should be good. c:
