Hi, I'm Katie! I've decided to start doing betareading as a way to improve my own writing! I love helping people and have been reading fanfic for so long now that I know what makes or breaks a story.

My grammar is generally okay, but I'm better at the creative side, such as improving a certain word to change how a sentence is perceived.

Honestly, I'm not amazing at spelling. I'll rely on spellcheck for most of my writing, which can lead to some misspelled words when it's not available to me.

I prefer reading lgbt romance, if there is a romance element to the story, but any romance is fine! I also love fics with original concepts and AUs, especially mystery and thriller genres!

I don't mind smut (or lemons, do people still call them that on this site?) but non-con (unless it's shown in a negative light), underage, or incest are all a no-go for me.
