When I beta, I never edit the original copy of a story. I'll make a copy of the story and then give you the revised version so that your original work is never lost if you aren't pleased with my revisions. I automatically fix any spelling and grammar issues, and I'll provide suggestions for improvements on writing style and story line, but I'll never change the plotline, writing style, or characters UNLESS I'm directly asked to do so. I never comment to hurt people, I'm only interested in helping.

I have an extended vocabulary for my age that I'm willing to share, upon being asked to do so. I won't replace words within a story for more exuberant ones unless the original story writer requests it. I know a wide extent of the rules of grammar, especially compared to others my age, so correcting grammar mistakes is something that comes easily to me. I am very thorough with my revisions, reading each story/chapter a minimum of twice, and ranging to re-reading it up to ten times if requested. If there's a good reason for me to re-read more than ten times, I'm willing. Usually I just go over it until I feel it's been decently expunged of miss-grammars.

I do have a lot of advanced courses in school, and I compete in a range of competitions. I often find myself very busy, but I always put forth tremendous effort to respond to anyone who asks for help with revising and editing. Even when I'm busy I make sure never to take too long responding when someone tries to contact me or ask for help, but unfortunately I would require a certain amount of patience from anyone requesting my services.

I am willing to read most stories if the help is needed. You can always ask me if I'm familiar with certain characters, universes, shows, books, etc. I'm afraid with a five thousand character limit there just isn't enough room for me to list everything I've ever read/watched/etc. I will say that some of the largest areas I'm familiar with are: Anime, Marvel, DC Universe. There are, of course, many others, and some topics within these that aren't included. As previously stated, you can always ask me and I can tell you if I'm familiar with it. I didn't list ALL of the categories I'm familiar with on my Beta profile either.

I, unless there is a special reason for me to do so, do not either read or beta descriptive sexual content, especially not lemons, insest, smut, yuri, yaoi, beastiality, or any other sexual stories. Sorry to anyone looking for that sort of assistance. I may also, sometimes, refuse to read a story if it contains spoilers that may ruin something I'm currently into. I hope you can understand!
