As a beta reader, I generally provide a comprehensive edit and critique of the entire story.

I edit the work using track changes so you can always see what i have done in terms of correcting actual errors. Anything that is a suggestion, comment, or even a question on my part, is written in using a color system.

I then leave a review at the bottom that may include a variety of topics most often related to my own thoughts as I read the piece, and here is where I may make suggestions about character portrayals and the plotline.

I would never try to hijack a story or override the author's wants, I just suggest.

My greatest weakness is that i'm still a young writer. I have a lot to improve upon and that comes with experience.

My second greatest weakness applies to being a beta for some but not others: I like adult themes. I'm always writing and reading in the M and explicit categories because that it what i like. I think overall, i probably give better critique in that area then for stories written for younger or Gen audiences.

I'm fine with any type of story, and when I say any, I mean any.

I would prefer to stick with fandoms I actually know something about, but just ask. I don't bite ;)
