I've proofread lots of stories in my days as a writer, and I love to help people with their stories. I like to read stories where people have at least a decent understanding of grammar and know how to use quotations and formatting. Of course, if you're coming to a beta-reader, you may want help with that, so I'm willing to read just about anyone's story as long as they're willing to take criticism, and, most importantly, continue to follow advice in more than one chapter, so I don't have to repeat myself.

I have a very high sense of grammar and formatting - the technical part of writing, mostly.

Characterization can be one of those finicky things for everyone, but I'm not as good at it all the time. Stiff writing, too, can be difficult for me.

I really like stories that include hurt/comfort - it's easy to deduce characterization flaws in these, but it's also easy to make those mistakes here as a writer. I'll read mostly any type of story.

Anything mature involving wack content such as incest, it's a no go. Also, if your story has focus on law or regulations, count me out.
