Hello there, writers! I go by the name KK, and, to be honest, I'm curious at this whole 'beta-reader' thing. But I like editing my own stories, so one day I thought: 'since sometimes people don't feel up to editing their work, why not do it for them?' And here I am.

When I edit my own stories, I typically read through them once and fix sentences that sound strange. Then I fix the details. Finally I use spell-check to find and fix spelling and grammar errors. That's about it!

I should have said this before but when you request my assistance, be prepared to have your request accepted/denied within several weeks of sending it. (I used to always check my PMs every time I logged in but for the past few months I have forgotten.) Then, have patience. It make take me a while to edit your work; I don't necessarily have a busy schedule, but I do tend to be lazy on my own stories. Finally, please be able to accept constructive criticism. For example, if you can't bear the fact that I say that your punctuation needs some improvement, then don't ask for my opinion about it.

Description/Detail: If you don't exactly excel at describing how a character dresses, talks, or does something, then I'm the girl to call. But be warned; I think my descriptions are a bit over-the-top sometimes.

Dialogue: Sometimes you use the wrong word or tone in a character's dialogue. I can fix that for ya!

Punctuation: Who couldn't do punctuation? A comma here, a question mark there. I got you!

Grammar: If 'grammar' means 'able to use big and intelligent words in the right places', then that describes my grammar skills pretty well.

Usage: Sometimes I have trouble deciding which word will accurately describe the way a character does or says.

M-Rated Romance: I may read a M-rated lemon every now and then, but that doesn't mean I know how to write it.

Comedy: I don't know why, but despite people thinking I'm funny in real life, I can't ever seem to write a story that's actually funny...

Crime: I don't read crime stories, so how would I know how to edit one?

Blood, Gore, and Violence: I like gore-themed stories, mainly things like 'Cupcakes' and 'Pages of Harmony'. Horror and tragedy are stories I normally like to read.

Whodunits: Mystery stories are da bomb!

Supernatural: Powers! Ghosts! Curses! Monsters! Witchcraft! The whole shebang!

Drama: Oh, drama...you are like the icing on top of the story-genre cake...sweet when I place my hungry eyes upon you, yet tangy with intrigue and suspense...

Lemons and Incest: Please, stick with T or under if you want me to edit a romance story. Also I will not do it if the characters are related or are going out with other people in canon.
