Hello, my name is Madde (or Dee, whichever you prefer), and I've been reading Fanfiction stories for quite a long time, but have never thought of taking up a Beta job before. This is my first attempt at performing as a beta-reader, but I'm very interested in helping authors create their masterpieces. I want to appreciate an author's style as much as possible, and want to mainly focus on fixing spelling, grammar, and consistency errors. If I see an inaccuracy in a specific section of text, or come across a writing passage that feels awkward; I will most likely fix it , but checking with the author to see if they accept it or not. I plan on creating another version of the writing document, and highlighting each change I make so the author can look at what I've done and make changes to their original work. I am always flexible with change, and won't be offended if an author dislikes one of the changes I've made. After all, it is the author who decides what official changes undergo the work, as it was their masterpiece.

I am currently taking a high level English class (in college, of course), and plan to take another course next semester. I have received an 'A' in this class so far and plan to continue performing like so. I excel at spelling and grammar, as well as sentence structure and other important writing characteristics.

Creativity in writing is my main drawback... I love writing, but I can never come up with any good ideas (which is why I'm interested in Beta-ing)

I have read a variety of different stories and genres, and appreciate any genre. I appreciate any rating, genre, and style of writing... and will be happy to Beta for anything (I especially like rated 'M' Fanfics, but again, I'm not very picky)!
