Hello, the name's PerfectingSilence. I've been on this site since February of 2013. I love to write, read, etc. Since I've decided being a beta would be enjoyable, I thought I'd give it a shot. I'll read some of your stories before I accept requests. I'll do this to get a taste for your writing style and such.

My strengths are in grammar, sentence structure, and general quality of the story. I'll help rearrange things so every sentence doesn't start with the same word. I'll sometimes suggest minor changes to improve the quality or plot, but of course, they're just suggestions. I completely get it if you don't want to change anything and that won't want to make me stop beta-ing for you. Please, just don't get angry when I suggest things.

I have issues when it comes to dialog. The quality isn't my problem; I struggle when it comes to structuring dialog, because I haven't been taught properly. However, I'm trying to learn and I think I'm improving! Tenses cause me a lot of difficulty. The different tenses get mixed up all the time in my own stories. Spelling isn't my strong suit, either, but I do have access to a dictionary, so it's manageable.

I'll read almost anything. Yaoi, yuri. Pretty much any genre, as long as it's written well. Though I favor Romance, Hurt/Comfort, Angst. Fluffy stories and sad ones both have a place in my heart. I'm a true fangirl, so almost nothing is too weird for me. However, I do reserve the right to deny any story I find isn't tasteful.

I can't really think of anything. I'm not allowed to read anything M, so just keep the content under M and I'll read it. As long as you write something well, I'm pretty much okay with it. There are, however, a few pairings I will refuse, merely due to the fact that because I immensely dislike them, I won't know enough about them to be able to make your story the best it can be.
