Beta Description
Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
While I actually had little to no teaching of how to write stories while I was in school, besides spelling, grammar, and punctuation, I managed to be able to teach myself to be a good writer, and also the sort of writer I wanted to be also, which I already explained I am. And, I don't think I could have learned in a better way than that, honestly. br /

It's worth concluding in the past four years or so, I have pursued studying how to write in the medium of screenwriting. I find it to be just like learning how to speak (or read) in a new language. And, I am pleased to say I at least almost getting to be fluent in this new way of writing. Of course, I still know how to write in the story format used when I self-publish of course. In fact, interestingly, studying the art and craft of screenwriting has given me so much insight into all forms of story telling in so many ways. I actually have a tighter grasp on plot and characterization and conflicts now. I am of course still maintaining my same style of writing, and of the subjects and character types and plot types I love to write of.

My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am an expert when it comes to spelling. I am also well-read when it comes to needing assistance in research for anything about the categories mentioned of in my preferences. I am always respectful, encouraging, and forthright honest when I critique people's works. I also can easily detect if a writer is unfit for writing in a particular category or not, depending on how much they like and support it.
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
When it comes to grammar I am not an expert. I am capable of spotting any glaring errors in grammar, of course. Though if your main concern is perfection in grammar, I might have to advise you to look for another beta. I'm not sure if this counts for a weakness, but it's worth mentioning that I cannot beta stories that run a long length, or have dark and, or depressing themes to them, or have a complicated plot or message, etc.
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
My preferred story types to beta are ones typically contain my favorite characters in the categories listed as preferences. I also prefer to help writers who take their craft as being both fun to do and also a serious art form. As in authors who want to share a special message or unique perspective to the rest of the world. Another preference worth mentioning is I prefer to work with atheist writers. If you happen to be a "believer" though, I still expect for you to write secularly. That is, as though religion does not exist. I refuse to treat religious writers with any respect.
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
All I can mention here is just any sort of story that could not be appropriate for the particular categories I prefer to beta in. I am expert in them, of course.
