I am very straightforward and give praise where it is earned. I like to help others improve in their writing, so if I see a mistake, I will point it out and help them understand how to fix it. My expectations for anyone that wants me to beta their stories would be that they accept criticism without complaint, try to learn from their mistakes, and that they know where to put a period and what needs to be capitalized.

I tend to excel in spelling and grammar. I am very straightforward and will tell you what is wrong and what needs to be fixed. I can assist with sentence structure, and I'll be able to help you improve in creating mental pictures for your readers. I also know a decent amount of human behavior and can help in making characters seem more realistic. I give respect where it is due, and I like to give praise, though I make sure that the praise I give is earned.

I have difficulties with pacing. I often don't spend the appropriate amount of time on a subject or scene that is needed, so my writing can end up being choppy or drawn out. I also have difficulties with adding too much comic relief, and maintaining a mood is often difficult for me to do. I catch these areas when I read my own stories, and I find it somewhat difficult to fix, but I promise I try my hardest to. My straightforwardness with errors might also come off as rude sometimes, but I promise that I don't mean any offense at all when I tell you what you need to fix.

I tend to stick more toward anime/manga, but I'll also do some T.V. shows like cartoons or Supernatural. I like reading mythology, fantasy, sci-fi, horror, angst, adventure, drama, and romance stories, and I'd love to be able to help polish and improve any stories falling into those categories. I love them so much, and I want to help stories like those be accurate, interesting, and a good read altogether.

I cannot bring myself to read western or mystery stories, more than anything else. I have no knowledge over anything western outside of dialect, and I do not find myself smart enough to help with any mystery stories. Along with that, I have also never been able to enjoy any mystery stories as others seem to, and I would not know how to work with them at all. I'd also prefer to stay away from poetry, as I find it far too challenging for someone like myself.
