Expect plenty of "how are you?"'s (I know - the horror). School and work often take up a lot of time, so I will have to ask for deadline extensions sometimes. I will always prioritize returning your work asap, but life has a funny habit of pouring gasoline all over my plans and setting them on fire.br
I don't extend my services to sexually explicit stories. If there's a chapter or two that has scenes, sure, I'll deal with that, but if sex is a pretty big part of the story, then naw. There's plenty of other beta readers to help ya. If you're on the fence about whether there's too much explicit content in your story for me to beta, shoot me a message! Besides that, you can send anything of any rating my way.

Also, I don't tolerate bigotry of any kind (unless it serves as a message to NOT be a bigot). So no homophobia, transphobia, racism, ableism, etc. I understand that there's lots of stuff out there considered "normal" that is actually hateful, so I will always opt to tell you if I find something sour in your story. However, if you're a): aware of it, b): refusing to change it, or c): putting up a big fuss, then I will no longer beta for you. Simple solution: don't be a jerk. br
Lastly, if possible, please send your document BEFORE you publish it. I understand that it can be difficult to find someone before publishing a story, no sweat. However, if you are debating to send something to me before or after publishing it, do it before. I want to help your story be as stable as possible before it's too late to make any changes.
