I am a second year Latin student in high school, and my mum is an English teacher. I spend almost all of my spare time reading and writing. I'm generally the chattier nerdy kid who loves sitting in the back of the classroom and sometimes being just a bit enigmatic. I wear a cloak to school; I'm not exactly your average Joe. I quote Doctor Who a lot, and I have very few problems talking to strangers if it is obvious we have something in common. I am also fairly self-aware, even if I do not show it in person, and I do have a tendency to ramble and/or go off on tangential topics. If you want something to call me, call me Elf.

I'm pretty good with grammar and spelling. Well, American spelling, that is. I am American, mind, and thus, the British terms I know are entirely from what I have read. When I correct grammar, I like explaining what the grammatical rule is so that the person to whom I am explaining it understands it so he or she may have the ability to fix it in his or her future. I am also logical, even when I am imagining the fantastical, so I am pretty good with continuity and having the supernatural making sense (whether or not that is in my head is the question). I do tend to have a good vocabulary.

As I said before, I am logical, so I may have troubles when dealing with a story with no portion of logic. I can also be quite set in my ways, and perhaps "quite" is a tad bit of an understatement. I'm also highly not up-to-date on pop culture, so that may be an issue, even if I do research. Also, I'm not particularly good at portraying the average human. Slightly eccentric, well, that is a lot easier.

I would prefer to beta a story written in third person, and I would be fine with both multi-chapter and one-shot. If there is a pairing, I would prefer it to be one of the ones listed on my regular profile as one I like. Also, as I cannot include this on the "Beta Preferences" section, I only will do "Welcome to Nightvale" for Radio Dramas.

I would rather not beta-read "M" rated stories, as you may deduct from the fact I enlisted under K-T. I would also prefer not to read stories focused on Mary-Sues (and Marty-Stus) and Doctor/OC stories. I would prefer not to beta-read PWP stories as well.
