So, one of my major things is that I can't get past a page if there are too many grammar mistakes in your story, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be willing to critique. It goes both ways I guess you could say. I can't bare to read things that are horrible grammar wise, but that's just because I have the problem of wanting to fix it. I'm the kid who sits in the class and calls out to the teacher when they have a typo in their slide-show. br /br /br /br /

At the same time, I'm not that nit-picky. I'm not a total grammar nazi, just enough of one to catch the little things- the same when it comes to spelling. I want people to enjoy writing their fanfiction, cause that's the point of all of it, isn't it? Plus, fanfiction is a great way to become a better writer. br /br /br /br /

Gosh, I'm rambling. I hope this made sense.

I'm good with picking out most grammar problems and spelling errors. It's mostly because I'm the Editor-in-Chief for my school newspaper. I'm also good at helping with plot-lines and making sure that characters are in character.

I'm bad with commas and other punctuation (colon, semi-colon, hyphen, that sort of thing). When I say I'm good at grammar I'm not remotely counting these. I can catch minor comma problems, but most of it will just go over my head. My normal guess is just to put it where it would go in normal speech. br /br /br /br /

I also might be a little slow at replying sometimes. I'm a fast reader but it takes me awhile to decide what all to say and also to get to things (unless it's one of those days where I spend the entire evening on the computer).

I love, love, love good romance and action stories. I also enjoy drama- to a point. I don't mind mature stories- also to a point. Basically everything is my cup of tea as long as it's got enough to it for my attention to be caught.

I don't like reading stories where everything that can go wrong in the person's life has, there's a fine line between fun angst and annoying. I also don't enjoy it if they're going to cuss every other sentence. I can get here and there, especially if the character is upset, but I can't get it if it's every other word out of their mouth. Also, I don't like needless explicit things. I can get it if the situation makes sense... but lets not have conversations about your character's sex life please (sorry, bad experiences with a story I read recently).
