Hello, hello! I am new to beta-ing, but don't let that scare you away. I like to write, and I have been writing since I was young. I am what people call a grammar nazi, and if I appear pretentious, it's an accident. I love all sorts of animes and stories. Also, I have a lot of animes listed in my preferences, but those aren't all. I've seen and read a few other series, but these are the ones I know best.

My favorites are Pandora Hearts (manga) and Fullmetal Alchemist (Manga/Brotherhood). I suppose that's all...

PS: I don't know that the br/ is, but it keeps appearing no matter how many times I delete it...

But anyway, I'm good at finding grammatical errors in things. I do support the Oxford Comma. Just in case you don't know what that is:

With: We are having a party tonight! I invited the strippers, Stalin, and Hitler.

Without: I invited the strippers, Stalin and Hitler.

It's more so preference more than anything else, but in some cases I believe it is important.

I'm also good at coming up with ideas, so if an author gets stuck, I can try and help them with that.

I tend to overuse commas at times, and I might end up dragging someone else into the comma-using pit of despair as well. I'm sure there're other things as well, but I can't think of any right now...

I prefer something that has a deep plot, tragic character deaths, a hint of humor here and there, and an ending that will make me laugh and cry at the same time. Not that an author has to have all those things. I just like those stories more, and they interest me more so I'll work harder on them.

I wouldn't like to read anything with yaoi or yuri. I also don't want to read anything without any plot. I understand if you want to write some pure humor with no cohesive story, because something like that can be entertaining, but I don't think that needs to be beta-d.
