I don't really know how to describe myself as a betareader, but I guess very laid back and not too uptight, most of the time. The first thing I would think, under any circumstances, after I read the first sentence is either 'interesting' or 'goodbye'. Somethings I cannot be decisive about, but I know when something as the potential, or that it's building up, right off the bat, and I am in constant search of them. My expectations of authors aren't very specific. As long as they aren't jerks I'm cool with it. I don't care about swearing or slash, I don't judge. I don't care how bad your grammar is, it would offensive to give up, especially if it was such a promising story. I might have more to say, but I think I made my point. I don't know if I did this right so sorry if I did.

My strong points are word choice, spelling, and grammar. I am very good at making a clear image in only a sentence or two. My grammar, when I'm in a mood, is very classical. That and combined with my extensive vocabulary makes me sound older than I actually am, but that can be a good thing in some cases. In the fanfics I read, the most common mistakes are plurals and tenses, which happens to be something I excel at. Being able to put things together.

I will make stupid mistakes if I'm not paying attention. I might forget an 's' or skip a word, usually the noun or the most important word. Those go away when I reread the text, though. Considering I'm not writing the actual document, almost all problems are either not a problem or the chances of it happening have diminished greatly. I cam sometimes get caught up in mistakes if there a lot and forget the original purpose of a betareader.

I don't really have any preferences. As long as they're good ideas and they're outside my dislikes, I fine with it. I really mean it when I say I like just about anything that isn't listed below.

The ones I really don't want to beta are mpreg and a character getting raped by some one that isn't in the pairing. If I think of anymore, I'll add it, but it all depends. I'm not judging, I just don't like these types of fanfics.
