As a betareader, I do wish to know the overall plot of the story so I don't mess it up for anyone that may contract me as their beta. I tend to like to add in things of my own and I am rather descriptive. I think of things like a movie and write/tweak from there, so If you just want me to correct things and not add in my own stuff, let me know before hand. I get along well enough with people, though I do tend to be a bit stubborn when it comes to my own ideas and I will stick up for them. Other than that, I would love to betaread for people and I look forward to it. Also, I prefer that you email Word documents to me to beta, though the FanFiction system works just as well.

Well, I am rather good at spelling and grammar(I'm frequently dubbed a spelling Nazi in my English class.) and just overall content of the story. I can write and correct anything from extreme fluff to heavy angst.

I do tend to mess up my own grammar and spelling, as well as having run on sentences. My biggest weakness, however, is always trying to get a romantic fluffy scene out of somethings, even if the situation doesn't call for it. I may have to be notified of the plot beforehand, so I don't move the story in a completely different direction. I tend to get my own idea of how a story should go and I write from there. Also, I often get distracted by things, so if I am emailed a chapter, it may take me a few days to get back to you because I am writing my own fanfictions, as well as actual novels and tons of homework.

I would prefer to beta stories that are on topics that I am familiar with, like certain tv shows, movies, books, animes, etc. Also, I quite like to do romantic and/or angsty scenes.

I'd rather not betaread stories that are on topics I am unfamiliar with, because I might make the characters OOC or accidentally take the story in a different direction than what the author intended.
