As a beta-reader, what I want more than anything is to support YOU, the author. No matter what it is you're looking for: help with spelling/grammar and pacing, my opinions on characters, plot, story development etc etc. I want to be able to give you the help you're looking for so that you can publish your story feeling confident! |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I love to read, and enjoy a multitude of genres and fandoms, I'm very honest, and can switch between being nice and being harsh depending on the writers preference. But I promise, I will never go "too easy", I love original work, and don't ever feel the nagging "Oh, I would do this different.." or "I'd write it like.." It isn't my story, it's yours, I may be new to it, but I tend to learn quickly |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I overthink my own writing (mostly with how often to repeat a characters name, and pacing longer stories), my grammar is not perfect, I'm new to beta reading, I can be a fairly "Hard grader" at times |
