Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I betaread first for readability, then grammer and punctuation, and finally for characterization. I will make stylization changes where necessary. If you have any specifications for your story I can easily adapt to these. I have edited school newspapers, research papers and master's papers. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am very good at conveying ideas metaphorically and have a vast vocabulary. I enjoy finding new ways to say things. I am also stingy with my words and will delete extra, unnecessary or repetitive words. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Sometimes I will get bogged down in details. My writing often suffers because of this. When at a writer's block I have a tendency to want to press forward instead of going back and rewriting. My stories tend to get a little whacky because of this. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I would prefer science fiction, western, or modern style stories. I do not enjoy romance or fantasy. |
