Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I am a very critical reader that focuses on grammatical use due to my studies in linguistics. I also place a lot of emphasis on story movement as well as proper characterization. I am currently doing my B.A. Hon Language Practice. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
My forte is in the grammatical field. This includes sentence construction, verb use, tenses and spelling. However, I also do character analysis and take into account the overall 'feel' of the story. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
My weaknesses include proper use of American idioms and some discrepancies in Amarican/UK spelling. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I prefer to beta Transformers/Beast-war fics as I am most familiar with the characters and the various versus. I like all genres and am willing to beta all ratings. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I am not a fan of sticky smut/slash, and would prefer not doing it, however, I will be willing to compromise on some aspects. |
