Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
When I beta a story, I first do a quick read-through to make sure everyone's in character. Then I'll re-read it, searching for grammar and spelling errors. If I find something that doesn't seem to mesh well, I'll offer suggestions of what else to put. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am good with grammar, and if I am familiar with the characters, I can usually tell when someone is out of character. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
When I really get into a story, I tend to not notice the errors. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I don't have huge preferences, but it helps when the overall theme is in line with the story, i.e., not extreme AUs, but really, if you want me to beta it, I probably will. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
Nothing M-rated, and no lemon. I prefer it when characters are not extremely OOC. And no incest. |
