I'm a dyslexic reader - that means I tend to reread several times over. I've been a profession (read: paid) editor and tutor in the past. That being said, generally I'm one to point out issues and help the writer grow themselves by fixing their own problems. Yes, I know, this takes time, but if someone fixed my issues all the time, I wouldn't know I was having those issues.

I haven't been a betareader on before, so you'll have to be a bit patient with me while I learn how things work 'round these parts.

Oh, and I don't have internet where I live. Yes, this makes things yet more complicated, I know. Easiest solution? Once we've started working together, let me know if you prefer a set schedule or if it'll be flexible. I always get into town at least once a week, but if I know something's on it's way, I'll bring the laptop in daily. And when you send me a new chapter, give me an idea of _when_ you'd like a response. If it's below 5k or so, I can realistically get it read same-day, but longer than that I'd prefer at least 24 hours.

I've written/reviewed mostly Star Trek and other sci-fi themed pieces here, but if you think I might be an interesting reader for you, and I haven't listed your work, feel free to approach me. I don't bite. Much.

I'm a "big ideas" kind of person. I like to keep things in the same voice, get the ideas flowing smoothly, and keep the reader interested and connected to the work.

As far as my own writing goes, I love long, complicated sentences a bit too much for my own good. I also find myself "running" the next bit of fun too quickly, and need to slow down sometimes to work on describing the scene.

While reading, thanks to the dyslexia some grammar and spelling issues are bright red neon flags, and other ones my brain simply doesn't see. No real rhyme or reason to it.

I love romance stories. They can be harsh, angst-filled, sweet, or sad. I try to write across the entire gender & sexuality spectrum, so if you've got gay, straight, lesbian, transgendered, questioning, etc, please request me.

Not into poetry. Not sure why. No non-consensual. Nothing underage. No drug use. No scat.
