I have been beta-reading for many, many years. I am the syntax editor for a small newspaper, and have been going over essays for my friends for mistakes. I read so much canon that I feel I am quite acquainted with the characters, and will do a good job keeping them intact with their personalities.

I am very good with characterization, grammar/syntax, and punctuation. I also am a big stickler for continuity and making sure everything flows together in some semblance of reason. Canon facts I'm generally okay with, but sometimes I can be a bit sketchy if it's been a while.

I don't have as much free time as I would like, so it might take a few days to get back to you with a completed chapter. That's basically the issue with me.

I prefer yaoi/boy-love over het or straight pairings, but it doesn't really matter.

I'm good with Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon, Harry/Draco, Harry/Ron, Lupin/Sirius, Seto Kaiba/Joey Wheeler, Yugi/Yami Yugi, Tristan/Duke Devlin, Daniel/The Corinthian, The Corinthian/OC, and Dream/(any of his lovers). Any other pairings are good, but those are the ones I'm best with.

Angst is my forte, hurt/comfort especially. Romance is good, and so are the psychological thrillers. Fluff is accepted as long as it attempts to remain in character.

MPreg, or pregnancy of any sort. "Gen" fanfic I'm not good with, so don't submit those to me unless it's really good. :)

I also refuse to read Lupin/Tonks of any sort, Obi-Wan/Anakin of any sort, and Dream/OC of any sort.

I apologize for the blatant pairing discrimination, but those pairings really tick me off, and I won't do a good job beta-ing your fic if it involves those pairings.
