I am a type of person who really enjoys vivid description in stories as well as different perspectives on writing in general. The reason I would make a very strong beta reader would be because I am a recognized published author and have been published three times through country wide writing contests and written winning persuasive writing at the impressive age of 16. All of these contests required extreme grammatical structure and would not be considered if there were any present spelling errors. I have a very specific and well executed mean of proofreading witch includes 4 steps: br /

1. Read through without correcting, just to get a basic understanding of the plot line, characters etc. and to ask or suggest any details to be included into the story. br /

2. Read through it again circling surface errors. br /

br /

3. Re-read numerous times looking in specific detailed areas of writing ex. Grammar, punctuation, spelling /

4. Read it over for the last time making sure everything sounds right and flows well with the new corrections. br /

br /

Just a quick note, any of my suggestions are not forcing anyone to insert them into their story, they are strictly ideas or recommendations. As for expectations, I am a very open-minded person and don't have any specific regulations to being a beta reader.

I am very good at adding vivid description, that includes "Big Juicy" words, metaphors, similes etc and am very particular in finding any spelling errors or grammatical errors. I can also be very involved with helping evolve the plot line or story line if the author wishes me to help with that aspect. I am a very responsible and mature person for my age and take pride in my work. I keep very up to date with my emails/profiles and promise to have any suggestion or work done in 72 hours.

I have been told I can over-use commas in stories and can be very uneasy towards understanding the different writing styles of writers. I have a set writing style which may conflict with the authors but I will stick with the authors wishes to the best of my ability.

As I have stated earlier, I am very open minded to any sort of genre but as a basic guideline, I love Criminal Minds, Hannibal, Glee, Doctor Who and any of the Sherlock Holmes TV shows or classic novels.

I am open minded to everything. :D As with ratings, I will read anything.
