and please please please try to refrain from describing every physical aspect of your characters, down to the socks they're wearing, in your first 500 words. That's one of my pet peeves, it's just not good form. It's not professional. Honestly it makes your story sound like something I wrote when I was twelve (and that's not that great... honestly...) if you want your story to sound good, then don't do that. I'll try to help you with it, but you better be willing to work with me.
