I am a photographer, but I spent a couple years in college as an English major. I was always very very talented in my English courses all through grade school, and I spent several years in creative writing classes. My sister and I have both been writing since we learned how, and, although she is much more practiced at the art of beta-reading than I am, I am still quite adept at it.

I have a husband, a 7-year-old son named Noah, and a 5-month-old daughter named Ava. They are the light of my life! My sun, moon, and earth.

I look at betareading as a very logical approach; I just go through and correct grammar, spelling, and - sometimes, when it is desperately needed - wording. I can be quite the perfectionist sometimes, mostly when it comes to spelling. I have a visual memory, so I tend to be a walking dictionary. And, sometimes, a thesaurus.

I'm not very fast, really. My hectic life and amount of thoroughness tend to slow me down quite a bit, but, in my defense, I am very thorough.

I don't really have anything that's not my cup of tea, except maybe yaoi. I don't mind guys being with other guys, but I just can't beta yaoi fics. I just CAN'T.
