Hello! As a beta-reader, I like to edit writing into something that I would enjoy reading. When I read, I look for grammatical and spelling errors, as well as writing style and word choice. Sometimes people use non-descriptive adjectives or repeat themselves a lot, and I can help them change their wording so that their story will flow better. As an avid reader, I know that people often add things to stories that slow them down, rather than enhance the writing. When I edit, I make suggestions on how to keep the story running smoothly by cutting out bits that don't work and adding details that improve the overall story.

In the betareading process I excel at making stylistic choices that make stories run smoothly and keep the reader interested. If part of your writing is dry and boring I won't hesitate to suggest a few ideas on how to regain your reader's interest. If you can't think of a word that works for that sentence, I'm here to help!
