I would be happy to supply beta reading services to anyone just starting out. My background includes technical and writing articles for magazines. I started writing fiction earlier this year, as it is always something I've wanted to do but never had the courage to attempt. I am a big Downton Abbey fan and also interested in Marvel. My two favorite characters are Tom Branson, from Downton Abbey and Steve Rogers aka Captain America.

My writing strengths include the more technical aspects of story construction and balancing a story between description and action. My professional writing background is heavily based on making dry technical information readable for a larger audience and I carry that through into fiction.

I am an absolutely dreadful speller. I do look up a great deal of words in the Associated Press guide book of standardized spelling. I am much better at spotting other people's errors than my own. I also tend to be extremely honest with my opinions. I think an honest opinion helps you think over your work and decide exactly what you want to say.

I have no real preference. I have a varied background so I am open to most story types.
