I've done proofreading for quite a few friends in the past, so I can give you some well-documented points about my style. I expect a basic grip on the English language, and at least the roots of grammar. Spelling and puncuation are not as important to me, as betareading corrects that, and therefore I would expect some mistakes, minor or otherwise. I also expect a reasonable amount of time to read your submissions. I *am* a voracious reader, but there must be time for me to really go over and check the document.

Spelling, grammar, and puncuation are my strongest suits.

I can be overly-critical at times. I am also a spelling geek, and I happen to like grammar. Therefore, if I see a large quantity of mistakes, I may be a bit on the snappish side.

I enjoy reading any actual stories, though I lean towards sci-fi, fantasy, and period stories as my general interests. I can handle graphic violence, though I *do* research on different types of combat, to ensure the 'integrity' of the different styles and outcomes.

I dislike any 'lemon' stories, so I will generally stay away from any M/MA that deals with adult situations.
