I am new at betareading, but I like proofreading. I am strict on commas, grammar, spelling, and run-on sentences. I will edit the crap out of any writing that needs it. If it doesn't need it, then it is okay. I am also strict on characters acting like themselves, unless it is an AU (Alternate Universe). I will let it slide then because, why should they act like they normally would when they are in an entirely different universe? I will try my best to make sure that every mistake (if there is any) will be fixed. Also, I don't judge people on their writing ability. Some people are beginners, and I am glad that they want help (Heaven knows I needed it when I first stared). If there is anything someone wants me to focus on more than anything else, I will just have to be told, and that subject will be at the top as I proofread. I just like helping people become better at writing because I know that I enjoy writing and getting help. (I do not believe in flames. Flames are something that is meant to hurt not to help, and I find those very rude and immature).

I excel at grammar and spelling. I was called a grammar-Nazi at school; I am very strict with the use or non-use of commas (too much can take away but too little can hurt). I also like to see if character matches how they act normally (AU's do not count within this because they can become a different person in them). I like helping others to improve in their writing, and I love editing things and looking over writing to see if there is anything to fix.

I usually write really quick and don't check over my own work as hard as I would someone else's work. I'm bad about keeping my stories up to date (although I am trying to become better). I may be a little more strict than most would like. I like things to be almost perfect (a weakness because that can go too far). I am new at betareading, which could be considered a weakness to some. I am also human, so sometimes a mistake may make it past me, and I apologize in advance if that happens, but I do pay attention closely because I want to help.

Any type of story would be fine with me besides the ones that I would not prefer which are stated below. I really like romance, mystery, and drama, but anything else is also fine. I honestly have no preference. I can also offer more categories than what I put, so if there is a question as to if I will read it or not, then just ask.

I cannot, will not, ever betaread anything rated M, a very high T is okay, but if it is M for anything sexual (because there are some stories that have to be rated M just for language and/or violence, which I won't mind reading), then I will not betaread it. No offense to anyone writing it, or anyone who likes those stories, as I have read some before, but as stated, they are "not my cup of tea". I have one more thing I refuse to betaread: anything with too much homosexuality. Again, no offense meant to anyone who likes/reads/writes this genre, but I am not a big fan of things like that. I honestly mean no offence, as I do have homosexual friends; it just isn't something I prefer to read/betaread. Please, do not take offense to this; it is just my own opinion.
