I can help with grammar, redundancy, wordiness, and other stylistic issues. I usually check for normal grammar issues first (like comma rules and passive voice) and then move on the stylistic errors. Depending on the fandom, I can help with plot and other such things. I would not feel comfortable doing this in fandoms I am not educated on. I understand if you do not like my suggestions once I start editing and don't want to use my edits, but do not make me feel stupid for suggesting them.

Not to brag, but I am really good at grammar. My English V teacher really pushed us in grammar and made it really intense. He had a 20 sided die he used to deduct points on major papers for grammar mistakes. I can comfortably handle any sort of grammar issue. I have similar skills in fixing stylistic errors.

I am only really good at editing when I put in the time and have interest in what I am reading. As I stated earlier, if am not a member of the fandom, I probably will not be much help.

I would prefer to edit stories less then five thousand words, but depending on the plot, past pieces by the author, and other circumstances, I will be willing to make exceptions.

I would not feel comfortable editing stories with crazy sex escapades that drop words like "penis" as frequently as possible like each word drop can be traded in for tickets at Chuck E. Cheese's. That being said, I will beta a M rated piece if it does not include the previously mentioned.
