I'm a professional report editor (and writer) for a government agency, that being said most of what I edit is technical and to a, more often than not, strict format. However, I have been a creative writer for many years, an on and off again FanFiction writer (with a number of profiles but this one is my most current), and am confident in my writing and editing skills. I enjoy reading many different genres of both literature and FanFiction but I'm a sucker for cannon pairing progression and Adventure/Romance. Due to my job I have a tendency to be a harsh critic, and that likely won't change when it comes to grammatical/punctuation errors, but I love stepping outside the box as far as characterization and plot goes. I believe myself to be an excellent writer but an even better editor, and I would enjoy helping and supporting others.

Descriptiveness and analogy are some of my strongest suites. I can help add lip stick and a skirt to vague or possibly boring (forgive me) writing. I enjoy brainstorming and idea sharing -I can help solidify plot ideas, characters and event sequences. I'm confident in my grammar and grasp of the English language (and yes, it is the only language I know), but I believe my more shinning qualities lie elsewhere. I have an active and often sarcastic sense of humor and I love coming up with witty arguments and conversations. I will be kind but honest, I will give plenty of suggestions, all of which you may ignore.

I can sometimes be a little too wordy or descriptive, a quality I've noticed in more my own writing then in editing others. I have a rather busy life but I enjoy writing and make plenty of time for it. I don't particularly enjoy working on immature writing/material, I prefer depth and multi-layers in my reading but that isn't to say I will not edit things I deem below my interest level. Just be aware of the preference I guess.

I prefer stories with a touch of Romance, which isn't to say I won't edit (and edit proficiently) other types of writing, but it is what I prefer to write and read myself. I can handle abuse/rape/torture fics if they are done well and with tact (even if you need me to help you make them so).

I won't edit anything homosexual, not because it bothers me, but because I have no basis of comparison when it comes to such things. If you write AU or OC or OOC I can appreciate it if it's well written, but it is not my preferred area of interest. I enjoy reading lemons and don't mind editing them; I think they can be a hard thing to master (talking from experience here) and I appreciate those who can portray them well. No incest or child sexuality please.
