As a beta-reader, I have done nothing. I don't have much experience with online editing, or the finite details of the process, but I enjoy editing grammar. Literature is literature, and I see no difference between familiar and unfamiliar fandoms as a beta-reader. If I make a mistake, please bring it to my attention, and I will research the subject before coming to a conclusion. I will defend my decisions with evidence, and I try not to make some else's writing my own. I will not take paragraphs of your work and decide that I could write it better, and I try to be as respectable as possible. Please do not ask me to beta-read anything you are uncomfortable with me seeing; I will correct mistakes in any rating, as long as the author has no problem with it.

I love all areas of writing, and have devoted my life to the study of wielding the English language. That said, I will study anything I am uncertain of before I make a decision. I will point out repetition of words or phrases, correct punctuation, capitalization, and spelling. If a correction has the potential to change the flow of the story, I will insert a parenthetical suggestion rather than altering the mistake directly.

As a young adolescent and a fresh-faced beta-reader, my greatest weakness is my lack of experience. I have not encountered much in the grammatical world, and I am continually seeking to improve my writing skills. In my writing, I constantly find myself moving the plot too quickly and restating minor details. I have a unique combination of redundancy and inadequate details.

I have absolutely no preferences. My true passion is editing and helping others improve with their own writing skills; I will not turn anyone away should they ask for my assistance. I also do not discriminate based on type of fanfiction; familiar or unfamiliar, the laws of grammar hold. I really am fairly open-minded.

If you do not want a fourteen-year-old female reading your story, I request that you not send it to me. If you could not care less about a minor reading mature fiction, I will do all that I can to help.
