I am a certified English teacher, and can offer suggestions as to grammar, punctuation, spelling, vocabulary and clarity as well as stylistic choices. I am not judgmental and my only goal is to help you. I'll do as much or as little as you like, and won't get offended if you don't use my suggestions.

Errors just seem to jump out at me, particularly the ones that a spelling checker won't catch - where the word is correctly spelled, but the wrong word has been chosen (i.e., "your" instead of "you're", "form" instead of "from"), or where words have been accidentally omitted.

I need reassurance that I'm doing what you need me to do. I don't want to leave errors, but I need to know if you want stylistic suggestions or not.

I would prefer to beta for series where I know the backstory, at least somewhat. If I don't know the characters you are writing, I can't tell if their actions make sense. I don't mind OOC, but I want to know what is OOC and what isn't. My first choice would be to beta for "Glee", but I would consider others.br /br /

I don't like to spend my time on graphic violence. I'm not opposed to something that is necessary to move the story forward as long as it isn't too graphic, but I don't want gore for the sake of gore.
