In terms of myself, I have been writing for a very long time, and I've been here on the site for a few years now. Writing has always been a sort of release for me; where some people write songs, poems, pain, draw...I write stories. As I've grown older and read more I've been able to expand my writing style and my vocabulary, and I have a lot of fun writing, when I have the time.

As for what I expect, I simply ask for a person who is dedicated to their writing, but also writing for themselves. Writing for reviews means nothing; I've read a lot of stories that aren't so good and have hundreds of reviews, and stories that are excellent and only have a few. I ask for a person who is willing to put some effort into what their doing. Also, someone who thinks about their characters and the situations they are putting the characters through. I look for someone who can stay true to the character, whether the story is AU or not. But the big thing is the dedication, and quality writing.

I am good at picking out inconsistencies in writings, which include contradictions and lacking information. I like to find new words to describe things, but not go overboard with fancy terms. Description is something I love, as I love to pain an avid picture of what is going on in the story. I seem to have a knack for getting into character's heads really well, so I can also help with that aspect of writing. I'm also good at picking out grammar things like flow of sentances, spelling, and punctuation.

Sometimes I personally get a little too descriptive, which can bore people. I tend to be a little repative with my words, and I have to re-read things in order to catch them. That's another thing; I don't like to read over my own work. Usually I will later and I'll find all the flaws, but I haven't been able to bring myself to look it over right away. I also don't write things down as I should. As for my own writing style, sometimes it takes a bit for me to actually say what I want to, which can result in a very wordy paragraph, which should be short and straight to the point. Sometimes I have spelling issues; mostly with doubling the wrong letter or writing 'to' instead of 'do' and things like that.

I'm a sucker for romances.

I will not do any sort of yaoi/yuri stories, nor anything that is rated M for explicit sexual content. I am not overly fond of swearing, but I'll handle a little.
