Hello! My name is Diana. I have studied English and Writing in college. I have helped edit the works of friends who have been published, and I have been published in journals and magazines myself. I received my undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology, so I can apply my knowledge of those to the piece you write. I received my masters in Social Work, so I have an excellent understanding of psychology and social work practice. That's where I'm coming from, so I apply all this when I edit and make suggestions.

I am a writer and reader with skills and knowledge gleaned from writing many papers for college and my master's program, journals for publication, and my own fiction and fan-fiction. I've read and editted fan fiction stories and original stories for friends who are writing for school, writing for publication, or just writing for fun. :) I've been a probation officer, family and individual therapist, and foster care social worker - so any story involving that profession I'd love to read.

I'm honest, so that means I'll share constructive criticism. I also give lots of encouragement and point out all the parts I adore. :)

I prefer stories with character development. My favorite stories to beta-read are fan fiction for Lost and Without a Trace.

I don't beta-read fan-fiction stories where I have not seen the television show/movie or read the book.
